• QCFI Vadodara chapter was established in 1983. It was growing slowly with limited activities till 1988. The concept of Quality Circle till then was not known to many organizations, and perception of Quality was also different.
• In the year 1988, Vadodara Chapter started functioning actively with most QCFI activities.
• In the year 1997, a new office was purchased at Blue Chip building, Sayajigunj, Vadodara. Vadodara chapter flourished from the new office and started growing steadily, creating new milestones every year.

Milestones

• 1983 Establishment of Vadodara Chapter on 24th November. It was the 2nd chapter of QCFI, first being Kanpur Chapter. At present Kanpur Chapter does not exist and so now Vadodara chapter is the oldest chapter of QCFI.
• Vadodara Chapter became a fully functioning chapter with all QCFI activities.
• First chapter convention at Surya palace(VCCQC-90)
• An office was purchased for Vadodara Chapter at Blue Chip building, Sayajigunj Vadodara.
• Won 2nd best chapter award. Highest membership award. First TQM conclave held

• In the year 2014 , QCFI Vadodara office was shifted to Monalisa building, Manjalpur.
• Recently on 13th August,2020 another office space was purchased and the office started working from there.
• Till date Vadodara Chapter has conducted 36 annual state level conventions, 21 TQM Conclaves and 2 HR conventions. Also started Safety Convention, ESG Convention & Conclave on Digital Transformation.

Milestones

• Won chapter of the year award . Won highest membership award. Won maximum sale of QCFI publication award.
• First school convention was held at new era school, Vadodara with 165 participants and 4 case studies
• National Convention (NCQC) was hosted by Vadodara Chapter with 605 circles & 40 special circles and 4171 participants
• Five S competition started by Vadodara chapter
• QCFI Vadodara chapter achieved mile stone of crossing 100 case studies in convention with 105 circles
• One more milestone of registering 218 case studies for chapter convention with 1045 participants. A new initiative was taken by QCFI, Vadodara by organizing first ever HR/CSR convention
