Emotions play a major role in our work life. While the impact is felt and appreciated, the application of Emotional intelligence in work life has not been given the importance it deserves. It is attitude and temperament which will score over Intelligence and knowledge.

PROGRAM COVERAGE

Day 1: Understanding Emotional Intelligence:

  • Being emotionally intelligent involves:
  • identifying emotions/
  • underpinning science/
  • how emotions affect our physical and mental life.
  • Tuning into emotions, understanding them and taking appropriate actions.
  • Tuning into the emotions of ourselves and others.
  • Understanding emotions of ourselves and others
  • Taking appropriate action on the emotional content that we find.

Day 2: Application in Work life

  • Self Awareness- Recognition of my emotions and their effect in work life..
  • Self Regulation- Knowing my strengths and limitations.
  • Motivation-Nurturing and developing those emotions that helps goal achievement.
  • EMPATHY-Awareness of others’ needs and feelings.
  • SOCIAL SKILLS-Adeptness of inducing desirable responses in others.

CONTENT AND METHOD OF THE PROGRAM

The Training will be conducted by delivering talks, Brainstorming session to start with and an EQ Test of all participants; multiple tools will be applied, including case studies. The actual happenings and experiences will be shared.

DURATION   OF   THE   PROGRAM    –    TWO DAYS

EXPECTATIONS FROM PARTICIPANTS – TO BE IN LEARNING MODE.

The participants are expected to follow the time schedule meticulously. The participants will switch off their cellphones during the program. However they are free to use it during the breaks. Active participations and productive interruptions are welcome.
